STORAGE OF YOUR VACUUM PACKED FISH
Upon receipt of your fish please put it in the FREEZER until it is to be eaten. The vacuum packing process does not make the fish shelf stable.
If your order arrives thawed, but is still cold to the touch it can be safely refrozen without harm to the product. In the freezer your vacuum packed product can be stored for up to 12 months.
If you wish to keep a portion in the refrigerator, please cut the pouch open to remove the vacuum. "The vacuum seal must be broken". We do not recommend you hold the product in the refrigerator any longer than 3 - 5 days. We do not use any artificial preservatives in our curing process so the product must be handled accordingly.
